- The phrase "ECS Honors" must appear somewhere on the logo
- There will be reward of $50 if a design is chosen.
- We will create a web form for submission.
- All entries will be judged anonomously
- The society leaders will be permitted to admit.
- Mentoring -
We will mentor on an as-needed per class basis. This will not be through the school's formal program. We will start with Nancy Van Ness' Discrete classes. We will ask her to notify her class that we will provide tutoring before the exam if there is interest. We will ask her to announce it two weeks before exam. And ask for a show of hands from interested students.

- Academic recruiting party 11/7. (Will advertise in Discrete II, Data Structures, RHET 1101)
- Start planning a lecture
- Come of with ideas and start posting these on the wiki by end of this week.
- Have a list of possible topics and ask Nancy Van Ness' class and ask student to vote on them.

- Changes to lab rules
- Speakers/Headphones - Speakers are allowed when nobody else is around. Otherwise, ask other lab members if it is ok to have music. If there is more then one person in the room, the last person in the room makes the request to turn on/off the music.
- Group Study -
- You must reserve group study time at least the day before. Otherwise, by default the individual study will ALWAYS get preference.
- Silent group study may be allowed as an exception.
- If you need more then 3 hours of group study time then you must reserve (number of hours needed - 2) days in advance.
- Cleaning - We will clean every Friday
- Recycling - Create schedule = Alan 10/19, Deana 9/21 , Paul 9/28, Ryan 10/5, Vitali 10/12
- Email honors students
- Create a monthly newsletter.
- We need a new ecartis mailing list ecshonors-members@
- Create a wiki entry and notice in the newletter to explain the differences between to the lists.
- Announcements (Logo contest, Undergrad research, lunches, etc.)
- Meeting/Event list for the month
- What we're working on (The lecture series)
- ComputingFest entry for honors organization
- Will other organizations be interested in have an org project category and have a submission
- May not be able to create actual competition but it could be more of a showcase.
