C/C++ Tutorial Session Information

Thanks to all of you who came out for the tutorial. We were simply amazed at the amount of interest that there was in the tutorial. If demand is sufficient we may repeat the tutorial next semester (Spring 2009). Please check our website and come to our other events!

Seminar Meetings

We have decided on structure and format for regular organization meetings. Please mark your calendars! The goal of the meetings is to have a faculty member come give a talk to the group and introduce a cool research project for everyone to see and think about. After the talk we will handle announcements, chit-chat and eat pizza!

Planning Meeting

We will be having a planning meeting with our new faculty adviser, Venky. The overall goal of the meeting is to discuss plans for the upcoming year. We would like to set a regular meeting schedule, solicit ideas for social activities and set goals for the organization's success. Logo Unveiling

We will be unveiling the new logo for our organization (from your submissions!) on Thursday, January, 24 2008 at 5pm in our lab ECSS 4.412. We will also award the prize for the contest winner. Come for free refreshments and conversation!

Logo Design Contest

Calling all artists! (And non-artists too!) We are holding a logo design contest to give our organization a suitable logo for our website, fliers, and other communications. Submit your best idea and if we chose to use it as our logo, you will win a $50 Visa gift card! Read the submission guidelines to submit your logo design online. Final deadline has passed! Look for announcements soon (probably after finals).

LAN Party co-sponsored with SGDA

Join us for an end-of-semester LAN party sponsored by the ECS Honors Society and Student Game Developers Association.

• Date: Thursday, December 6th.
• Time: From 6:00pm until everyone goes home.
• Place: ATEC PC Lab (the ATEC building is just north of the Art Barn)
